TallyPrime 2.0 और 2.0.1 का official release date 27 July 2021 है, और इसका headline था connected e-Way Bill — voucher बनाते समय ही online e-Way Bill। साथ में reports के लिए Save View, party GSTIN और HSN/SAC की online validation, और 2.0.1 में screen के नीचे shortcut bar व notifications आए।

2.0 में e-Way Bill से क्या बदला
पहले तरीका यह था: invoice बनाओ, JSON export करो, portal पर upload करो, EWB number वापस Tally में डालो। 2.0 के बाद यह काम voucher save करते समय ही हो जाता है, और Part B (vehicle number) बाद में update हो सकता है। जिनके रोज़ 20-50 dispatch होते हैं, उनके लिए bulk generation और bulk validity extension ने सबसे ज्यादा समय बचाया। ध्यान रखें — connected EWB तभी smooth चलता है जब party की address, state और pincode details सही हों; errors के लिए e-Way Bill errors देखें।
Upgrade notes
- Data migration: 2.0 के release notes में migration के बारे में कुछ नहीं लिखा। आज 2.0 से latest पर जाएँगे तो migration जरूरी है — Tally के help के अनुसार Tally.ERP 9 (5.0) से TallyPrime 2.1 तक के data के लिए अलग migration path है, जिसमें मूल company बनी रहती है और data नई company में जाता है।
- Compatibility: Notes में अलग compatibility बात नहीं; 64-bit Windows की शर्त 1.0 से लागू है।
- TSS: 2.0.1 से TSS expiry के notifications आने लगे। Upgrade के लिए active TSS चाहिए — latest price WhatsApp पर पूछें।
क्या आपको अभी भी 2.0 पर रहना चाहिए?
नहीं। 2.0 में Edit Log (audit trail) नहीं है, जो companies के लिए 1 April 2023 से जरूरी है, और GST portal के बाद के बदलाव (Connected GST, IMS) भी नहीं। Active TSS के साथ TallyPrime 7.1 पर जाएँ — तरीका TallyPrime update कैसे करें में।
Common Mistakes
Invalid GSTIN वाली party पर e-Way Bill/e-Invoice
Portal reject करता है और dispatch रुकता है। Party बनाते ही online GSTIN validation चलाएँ।
Notifications को हमेशा snooze करना
TSS expire हो जाता है और GST connected features बंद। TSS renewal date calendar में डालें।
