Manufacturing Journal in TallyPrime — BOM से Production Entry (Alt+F7)
TallyPrime में Manufacturing Journal, Stock Journal (Alt+F7) का ही एक type है। Finished goods के item पर BOM (Bill of Materials) set करने के बाद, production entry में सिर्फ बनी हुई quantity डालें — raw material की खपत अपने आप भर जाती है और प्रति unit cost निकल आती है। यह inventory voucher है, कोई ledger entry नहीं बनती।
Setup — दो काम एक बार

Set Components (BOM) तभी दिखता है जब stock item में Units भरी हो। By-product, co-product या scrap भी दिखाना हो तो BOM screen में F12 → Define Type of Component for BOM = Yes करें। हमारी book में “F11 → Enable Manufacturing Journal/BOM” लिखा है — TallyPrime 7.x में यह F11 से नहीं, ऊपर के voucher type और stock item settings से होता है।
Voucher कहाँ मिलेगा?
Gateway of Tally → Vouchers → Alt+F7 → list आए तो Manufacturing Journal चुनें। Stock Journal पहले से खुला हो तो Ctrl+H (Change Mode) से Manufacturing Journal पर जा सकते हैं।

Worked example (हमारी book का case)
Accurate Furniture ने 10 Teak Dining Chairs बनाईं। BOM (1 chair): Teak Wood 8 Cft @ ₹500, Steel Nails 0.5 Kg @ ₹100, Wood Polish 0.2 Ltr @ ₹300। Additional cost: Labour ₹800 और बिजली ₹90 प्रति chair।

Ledger effect: कोई Dr/Cr entry नहीं बनती — raw material की value ₹41,100 घटती है और finished goods ₹50,000 पर दर्ज होता है। Labour और बिजली का भुगतान अपने Payment/Journal voucher से अलग दर्ज करें; यहाँ की additional cost सिर्फ chair की valuation के लिए है। पूरा case “TallyPrime 7.0 सम्पूर्ण मार्गदर्शिका” (हमारी book), अध्याय 20 में है।
Reports पर असर
Stock Summary में Teak Wood 80 Cft, Nails 5 Kg, Polish 2 Ltr कम और Teak Dining Chair 10 Nos (₹50,000) ज़्यादा दिखेगी। BOM के हिसाब से अनुमानित cost Display More Reports → Statements of Inventory → Cost Estimation में मिलती है।
Common Mistakes
BOM में 1 unit की जगह batch की quantity डालना
Production पर 10 गुना raw material कट जाता है। Unit of manufacture और component quantity एक ही आधार पर रखें।
Additional cost को खर्च की entry मान लेना
Labour का भुगतान books में आता ही नहीं। Additional cost सिर्फ valuation है; भुगतान F5 Payment से करें।
Raw material की असली खपत न बदलना
Wastage ज़्यादा हुआ तो stock गलत रहेगा। Voucher में component quantity edit करें या BOM में scrap जोड़ें।
