Price List in TallyPrime — Price Levels से Customer-wise Rate (Retail, Wholesale)
TallyPrime में price list Price Levels के साथ काम करती है। पहले F11 में Enable multiple Price Levels = Yes करके Retail, Wholesale जैसे levels बनाएं, फिर Gateway of Tally → Alter → Price List (Stock Group) में हर level के rate भरें। Customer ledger में level चुनने के बाद invoice में rate अपने आप आता है।
कब काम आता है?
जब एक ही item अलग-अलग customers को अलग rate पर बिकता है: walk-in customer को retail, dealer को wholesale, बड़े buyer को special rate। Billing staff को rate याद नहीं रखना पड़ता और गलत rate पर invoice बनने का खतरा लगभग खत्म हो जाता है। Quantity के हिसाब से slab discount (जैसे 10 Nos से ऊपर 2%) भी price list में ही set होता है।

नोट: हमारी book (7.0 edition, अध्याय 10.22 और 12.3) में option का नाम “Use Price Levels / Use Multiple Price Levels” लिखा है; 7.1 के Tally help में यह Enable multiple Price Levels है और price list Alter → Price List (Stock Group) से बनती है।

Accurate Traders का Samsung Galaxy A55 (Stock Group: Mobile Phones), applicable from 1-Apr-2025:

Common Mistakes
Rate बदलने के लिए पुरानी date वाली list overwrite करना
पुराने invoices दोबारा खोलने पर confusion होता है। हमेशा नई Applicable From date से revised rate डालें या Alt+R (Revise Price)।
Party ledger में price level न चुनना
तब हर invoice में level हाथ से चुनना पड़ता है और गलती होती है। Regular customers के ledger में level fix करें।
Price list में GST-inclusive rate डालना
Invoice में tax दोबारा जुड़ जाता है। Price list में आमतौर पर tax से पहले का rate रखें, जब तक आपने item पर inclusive rate setting नहीं की है।
