Batch और Expiry Date Entry in TallyPrime — Mfg Date, Expiry Date और Batch-wise Stock

TallyPrime में batch और expiry date track करने के लिए F11 में Enable Batches और Maintain Expiry Dates for Batches को Yes करें, फिर stock item में Maintain in batches = Yes रखें। इसके बाद हर purchase में batch name, manufacturing date और expiry date भरते हैं और sale के समय सही batch चुनते हैं। Pharma, FMCG, food और chemical business के लिए यह setting ज़रूरी है।

F11 में option न दिखे तो पहले Show more features = Yes करें। Stock item खोलने का रास्ता: Alt+G → Alter Master → Stock Item।

Batch के साथ Purchase Entry — step by step

2	Party A/c name, Purchase ledger	Supplier और Purchase @12% जैसा ledger
3	Name of Item	Batch वाला item चुनें, allocation screen खुलेगी
4	Batch / Lot No.	Supplier के bill पर छपा batch number
5	Mfg date, Expiry date	Expiry, voucher date से पहले की नहीं हो सकती
6	Quantity, Rate	एक ही item के दो batch हों तो अगली line में दूसरा batch
7	GST ledgers → Ctrl+A	Input CGST + Input SGST, फिर save

Sale (F8) में item चुनने पर उपलब्ध batches की list उनकी expiry date के साथ आती है। हमेशा FEFO (First Expiry First Out) से batch चुनें।

Worked example

Accurate Pharma ने 10-Apr-2026 को Shree Medical Distributors (same state) से Paracetamol 500 Strip के 1,000 strips ₹20 प्रति strip पर खरीदे — Batch PCM2604, Mfg 01-Mar-2026, Expiry 28-Feb-2028, GST 12%।

Save करने पर Batch Summary में PCM2604 के 1,000 strips दिखेंगे। 20-Apr को 300 strips बेचते समय इसी batch को चुनें; बचे 700 strips उसी batch में रहेंगे। Inventory और batch का पूरा chapter हमारी book “TallyPrime 7.0 सम्पूर्ण मार्गदर्शिका”, अध्याय 10 में है।

Common Mistakes

F11 चालू किया, पर stock item में नहीं

सिर्फ़ company feature on करने से batch screen नहीं आती। हर ऐसे item में Maintain in batches = Yes करें।

Batch name में हर बार अलग spelling

“PCM-2604” और “PCM2604” दो अलग batch बन जाते हैं और stock बिखर जाता है। Supplier का batch number बिल्कुल वैसा ही लिखें।

Sale में नया batch पहले निकालना

पुराना batch गोदाम में expire हो जाता है और loss होता है। Sales में batch list देखकर FEFO follow करें और हर महीने expired batches की report देखें।

How to enable batch in TallyPrime?

F11 (Features) में Enable Batches = Yes और expiry चाहिए तो Maintain Expiry Dates for Batches = Yes करें। Option न दिखे तो Show more features = Yes करें। फिर stock item में Maintain in batches = Yes।

Expiry date कहाँ भरते हैं?

Purchase (F9) या Receipt Note में item चुनने पर batch allocation screen खुलती है। वहाँ Batch name, Mfg date, Expiry date और Quantity भरें। Stock item में Use expiry dates = Yes होना चाहिए।

Batch-wise stock report कहाँ मिलेगी?

Gateway of Tally → Display More Reports → Inventory Books → Batch (Batch Summary)। Expired batches देखने के लिए Batch Summary में Ctrl+B से Expired Batches only = Yes करें।

Sale में कौनसा batch पहले निकालें?

FEFO — First Expiry First Out। Sales voucher की batch list में expiry date दिखती है, सबसे पहले expire होने वाला batch चुनें।

क्या पुराने stock items में बाद में batch चालू कर सकते हैं?

हाँ, stock item alter करके Maintain in batches = Yes कर सकते हैं, लेकिन पहले से पड़ा stock किसी batch में allocate नहीं होगा। बेहतर है कि नए साल की शुरुआत या opening stock के साथ batch चालू करें।
