Delivery Note in TallyPrime (Alt+F8) — माल पहले भेजें, Invoice बाद में
TallyPrime में Delivery Note Alt+F8 से बनता है। जब माल पहले customer को जाता है और bill बाद में बनता है — जैसे approval basis, बड़े customer का monthly billing, या challan के साथ dispatch — तब Delivery Note बनाएं। Save होते ही stock घटता है, पर कोई ledger entry नहीं बनती।
Delivery Note कहाँ मिलेगा?
Gateway of Tally → Vouchers → Alt+F8 (Delivery Note), या Alt+G → Create Voucher → F10 (Other Vouchers) → Delivery Note। पहली बार voucher type activate करें। TallyPrime में Tracking Numbers के लिए अलग F11 option नहीं है — Delivery Note या Receipt Note activate होते ही tracking चालू हो जाती है।
F12 settings
Delivery Note में F12 दबाकर Provide Dispatch, Order, and Export details = Yes रखें ताकि Dispatch Doc No., Dispatched through, Destination और vehicle details भर सकें। Sales Invoice में भी यही option Yes होना चाहिए, तभी delivery note select करने की list आती है।

Ramesh Electronics के 20 Nos Samsung Galaxy A55 वाले sales order (₹28,000 प्रति piece) के against 12 May को 12 Nos Main Godown से भेजे गए। Delivery Note no. DN-101।

Ledger effect: Delivery Note पर कोई Dr/Cr नहीं। 15 May को F8 में DN-101 select करने पर entry बनेगी: Ramesh Electronics Dr ₹3,96,480; Sales @18% Cr ₹3,36,000; Output CGST Cr ₹30,240; Output SGST Cr ₹30,240। Invoice पर stock दोबारा नहीं घटेगा, क्योंकि वह DN-101 से पहले ही घट चुका है।
e-Way Bill: ₹50,000 से ऊपर का माल delivery note पर जा रहा हो तो e-Way Bill details उसी voucher में भरी जा सकती हैं — देखें e-Way Bill guide।
Common Mistakes
Invoice में Tracking No. की जगह New Number चुनना
Sales Bills Pending में delivery note “bill pending” और invoice “goods not delivered” — दोनों अटके दिखेंगे। Invoice में delivery note वाला Tracking No. ही select करें।
Sales Bills Pending report न देखना
माल चला गया पर bill कभी नहीं बना — revenue छूट जाता है। Month-end पर Sales Bills Pending ज़रूर check करें।
Delivery Note को Sales Invoice समझकर GST return मानना
Delivery Note GSTR-1 में नहीं जाता। Tax invoice F8 से ही बनाएं।
