Manufacturer के लिए TallyPrime का मूल मंत्र है — BOM एक बार सही बनाओ, फिर हर production entry में सिर्फ़ बनी हुई quantity डालो; raw material अपने आप घटेगा और finished goods की cost अपने आप बनेगी। इसके साथ godown, job work और सही ledgers हों तो factory का पूरा हिसाब एक जगह आ जाता है।

Setup checklist (पहले हफ़्ते में)

Stock groups — Raw Material, Packing Material, Semi-Finished, Finished Goods, Scrap।
Units — Kg, Mtr, Nos; जहाँ ज़रूरी हो compound unit (जैसे Box of 12 Nos)।
Godowns — Raw Material Store, Production Floor, Finished Goods Store, और हर job worker का अलग godown।
BOM — Finished goods item → Set Components (BOM) = Yes; per unit कितना कच्चा माल लगता है। By-product/scrap हो तो BOM screen में F12 से component type चालू करें।
Voucher type — Stock Journal type का voucher, Use as a Manufacturing Journal = Yes।
Opening stock — हर item और godown का physically गिना हुआ stock।

Scrap की बिक्री का अलग sales ledger रखने से पता चलता है कि हर महीने कितना wastage पैसे में बदला।

Production entry का flow

मान लीजिए आप furniture बनाते हैं। BOM में 1 chair = 8 Cft लकड़ी + 0.5 Kg कील + 0.2 Ltr polish। 10 chairs बनीं, तो Manufacturing Journal (Alt+F7 से voucher list) में product = Chair, quantity = 10 डालते ही components 80 Cft, 5 Kg, 2 Ltr भर जाते हैं। असल खपत अलग हुई हो तो वहीं quantity बदलें, फिर labour और बिजली जैसी additional cost जोड़ें। Save करते ही raw material godown से घटा, finished goods बढ़ा, और per chair effective rate तैयार।

Job work — principal manufacturer के रूप में

Stitching, plating, cutting जैसा काम बाहर करवाते हैं तो F11 में job order processing चालू करें। कच्चा माल Material Out से job worker के godown में भेजें, तैयार माल Material In से वापस लें, और job worker का bill Purchase में। Stock with Job Worker जैसी reports बताती हैं किसके पास कितना माल पड़ा है। GST में job work पर भेजे माल का ITC-04 बनता है — Job Work ITC-04 guide देखें।

Raw material, packing और machinery पर ITC लें, पर ineligible ITC (जैसे कुछ personal-use items) अलग रखें।
Scrap की बिक्री भी taxable supply है — उसका HSN और rate अलग हो सकता है।
Factory से दूसरे state की branch को माल भेजना supply है: Branch transfer GST।
Turnover limit पार करने पर e-invoice ज़रूरी — e-Invoice in TallyPrime।

कब custom TDL चाहिए

जब production planning (sales order से raw material requirement), machine-wise या shift-wise output, batch-wise costing report, या job card जैसे printouts चाहिए — तब standard reports कम पड़ती हैं। ऐसे cases में TDL customization से report या voucher field जोड़ा जा सकता है।

Common Mistakes

Production की entry ही नहीं करना

सिर्फ़ purchase और sales से raw material बढ़ता रहता है और finished goods negative। हर production batch का Manufacturing Journal उसी दिन।

BOM कभी update नहीं करना

Design या wastage बदलने पर पुराना BOM गलत cost देता है। हर 3–6 महीने में BOM को असल खपत से मिलाएं।

Factory wages को Indirect Expenses में डालना

Gross Profit बढ़ा हुआ दिखता है और product cost गलत। Production से जुड़े खर्च Direct Expenses में।

FAQ

Kya TallyPrime chhoti factory ke liye sahi hai?

हाँ। BOM, Manufacturing Journal, multiple godowns, batch और job work जैसे features standard TallyPrime में हैं। बहुत complex production planning या machine-wise scheduling चाहिए तो TDL या अलग software के साथ जोड़ना पड़ता है।

How is production cost calculated in TallyPrime?

Manufacturing Journal में BOM के components की value और labour, बिजली जैसी additional cost जुड़कर finished goods का effective rate बनता है। इसलिए raw material का purchase rate और additional cost सही डालना ज़रूरी है।

Job work ka maal kis godown mein dikhayein?

हर job worker के नाम का अलग godown बनाएं। Material Out से माल उस godown में जाता है और Material In पर वापस आता है, जिससे पता रहता है कि किस job worker के पास कितना माल पड़ा है।

Scrap aur by-product ki entry kaise hoti hai?

BOM में component type define करने का option चालू करके by-product, co-product या scrap अलग से दिखाया जा सकता है। Production entry में ये अपने आप stock में आ जाते हैं और finished goods की cost सही रहती है।

क्या wages को Direct Expenses में रखें?

Factory में production से सीधे जुड़ी wages, power और freight inward आमतौर पर Direct Expenses में रखे जाते हैं ताकि Gross Profit सही दिखे। Office staff की salary Indirect Expenses में जाती है।
