₹ Rupee Symbol in TallyPrime — Ctrl+4 / Alt+4 Shortcut

TallyPrime में ₹ लिखने के लिए Ctrl+4 दबाएँ। Alt+4 company की base currency का symbol डालता है — Indian company में वह भी ₹ है। Laptop और desktop दोनों keyboards पर Ctrl+4 काम करता है। Tally.ERP 9 में base currency symbol Ctrl+4 से आता था।

Alt+code वाले symbols के लिए Alt दबाए रखें और numbers right-side numeric keypad से type करें (Num Lock on)। Keypad न हो तो symbol कहीं से copy करके Ctrl+V से paste भी कर सकते हैं।

Example: Narration में amount के साथ ₹

1	F6 Receipt voucher → Narration field
2	“Advance received ” type करें, फिर Ctrl+4 → ₹ → “25,000”
3	Ctrl+A से save

Amount fields में ₹ type करने की ज़रूरत नहीं — invoice और reports में currency symbol company की base currency setting से अपने आप आता है।

Common Mistakes

Alt+code ऊपर वाली number row से type करना

Alt+0163 जैसे codes ऊपर की number row से काम नहीं करते। Numeric keypad और Num Lock इस्तेमाल करें।

Amount field में Rs या ₹ type करना

Amount field सिर्फ number लेता है। Symbol company की currency setting से अपने आप print होता है; ₹ सिर्फ narration/text fields में डालें।
