TallyPrime में F12 (Configure) उसी screen की Configuration खोलता है जिस पर आप हैं — voucher entry, master creation या कोई report। Company-level features के लिए F11 और global settings के लिए F1 (Help) → Settings है।

F12 कहाँ काम करता है?

Screen	F12 से क्या control होता है
Voucher entry (Sales, Payment आदि)	Voucher में कौन से fields/details दिखें, narration जैसे options
Master creation (Ledger, Stock Item)	Creation screen में अतिरिक्त fields दिखाना/छिपाना

4	Ctrl+A से save — voucher पर वापस, नई setting लागू

Report में भी यही flow है: report खोलें → F12 → option बदलें → Ctrl+A। Options हर screen पर अलग होते हैं, इसलिए जिस screen को बदलना है, F12 वहीं दबाएँ।

Common Mistakes

GST enable करने के लिए F12 ढूँढना

GST, TDS जैसे features company-level हैं — ये F11 में हैं, F12 में नहीं।

Gateway पर F12 दबाकर voucher option ढूँढना

Voucher की configuration voucher screen के अंदर ही मिलेगी। पहले voucher खोलें, फिर F12।

Ctrl+F12 / Alt+F12 को Configure समझना

ये reports में conditions/filter के लिए हैं, configuration के लिए नहीं।
