बहुत से restrictions TDL के बिना ही लग जाते हैं — पहले इन्हें set करें:
- Control User Access on करके हर user का अलग login (Alt+K → Users and Passwords)।
- Security Levels (Owner, Data Entry और अपने roles): facility-wise Full Access, Create, Alter, Display, Print allow/disallow।
- Vouchers पर Full Access disallow करने से delete रुकता है; सिर्फ़ Create देने से alteration और duplicate भी।
- Days Allowed for Back Dated Vouchers और Cut-off Date — audit के बाद पुराना period lock।

Common Mistakes
सबको Owner login दे देना
तब कोई restriction — built-in हो या TDL — काम नहीं करती। हर व्यक्ति का अलग user और सही Security Level बनाएं; Owner password सिर्फ़ मालिक के पास।
Users को local TDL load करने की छूट देना
कोई user अपनी TDL load करके restrictions बायपास कर सकता है या cracked TDL ला सकता है। Data entry users के लिए Allow Local TDL: No रखें।
