दुकान या godown में barcode scan से billing तेज़ होती है, पर labels छापने के लिए अलग software, दोबारा item entry और गलत MRP का डर रहता है। Barcode label printing TDL TallyPrime के stock items से ही barcode labels print करता है — item name, MRP, batch जैसी details उसी data से आती हैं जिससे आप billing करते हैं।

TallyPrime में built-in क्या है

Barcode scan: Stock Item creation/alteration में Alias field पर scanner से barcode capture करें।
Scan से billing: Sales या POS voucher में item field पर scan करते ही item select हो जाता है; standard barcode scanners support होते हैं।
Invoice पर barcode number: Print configuration में stock item का display name Name (Alias) रखने पर barcode number invoice पर आ सकता है।
Label print: Built-in नहीं — Tally की अपनी help यह साफ़ कहती है।

यानी scanning के लिए TDL मत लीजिए। TDL सिर्फ़ label छापने और उससे जुड़े automation के लिए है।

Common Mistakes

Barcode font install किए बिना print करना

Font न हो तो label पर barcode की जगह सादा text या scan न होने वाली lines आती हैं। जिस computer से print होगा, वहाँ barcode font installed होना चाहिए।

पुराने Tally.ERP 9 की barcode TDL TallyPrime पर चलाना

Release mismatch से errors या गलत alignment आती है। TDL आपकी current TallyPrime release के लिए बनी या tested होनी चाहिए।

FAQ

क्या TallyPrime में barcode scanner चलता है?

हाँ। Stock Item के Alias field में barcode scan करके save करें; फिर sales या POS voucher में item field पर scan करते ही item select हो जाता है। इसके लिए TDL नहीं चाहिए।

Can TallyPrime print barcode labels without TDL?

नहीं। Tally की help के अनुसार barcode को label के रूप में built-in print नहीं किया जा सकता — invoice पर alias के रूप में barcode number आ सकता है। Labels के लिए TDL चाहिए।

Label पर कौन-सी details आ सकती हैं?

Requirement के हिसाब से — item name, barcode, MRP या selling price, size, batch, mfg/expiry date, company name। Label size आपके printer और sticker roll/sheet के हिसाब से set होता है।

क्या purchase entry के quantity जितने labels निकलेंगे?

यह common requirement है — purchase voucher या stock item से चुनी quantity के हिसाब से labels print करना। आपकी process देखकर तय करते हैं।
