Excel से TallyPrime में Import — Ledgers, Stock Items और Vouchers (Built-in, Release 4.0+)

TallyPrime Release 4.0 से Excel import built-in है, अलग TDL ज़रूरी नहीं। Alt+O (Import) से आप ledgers, stock items जैसे masters और sales/purchase जैसे vouchers सीधे Excel से ला सकते हैं: या तो TallyPrime की Sample Excel File भरकर, या अपने existing Excel के लिए mapping template बनाकर।

दो तरीके

Tally ने Busy, Marg, QuickBooks, Shopify, Amazon जैसे platforms के लिए तैयार templates (.tsf) भी दिए हैं, जिन्हें TallyPrime folder के config > excelmaps में रखना होता है।

Masters import: step table

4	Alt+O → Masters	File Format = Excel (Spreadsheet), file path, mapping template = Default Template, Type of Master = Ledger
5	Behaviour of Import if master already exists	Duplicate ledger के साथ क्या करना है, तय करें
6	Preview Import Summary → I	Import; गलतियाँ Exceptions report में

Vouchers के लिए: Alt+O → Manage → Mapping Templates → Transactions → Create में Excel file details, rows/columns और हर Field (TallyPrime) के सामने Column Header (Excel) map करें, Ctrl+A। फिर Alt+O → Transactions में file और template चुनकर I से import करें।

Worked example

Accurate Traders पुराने software से shift हो रहा है: 300 customer ledgers और अप्रैल के 450 sales invoices Excel में हैं। पहले ledgers की sheet:

Ledgers import होने के बाद sales sheet (Date, Voucher No., Party, Item, Qty, Rate, Sales Ledger, GST) के लिए transaction mapping template बनाया। Sheet की एक row (Ramesh Electronics, 2 Nos @ ₹28,000, 18% same state) import होकर यह voucher बनाती है:

Common Mistakes

Vouchers पहले, masters बाद में

Party या item नहीं मिलने से पूरी sheet exceptions में चली जाती है। क्रम रखें: Groups → Ledgers/Units → Stock Items → Vouchers।

Excel में नामों की spelling या extra space अलग

“Ramesh Electronics ” और “Ramesh Electronics” अलग माने जाते हैं, duplicate ledger बन सकता है। Excel में TRIM करके नाम exactly master जैसे रखें।

Backup के बिना live company में import

गलत mapping से सैकड़ों गलत vouchers बन जाते हैं। पहले backup या test company में चलाकर देखें।

FAQ

Excel to Tally Prime import के लिए TDL चाहिए?

TallyPrime Release 4.0 और उसके बाद नहीं। Alt+O (Import) में Excel (Spreadsheet) format built-in है। पुराने release या बहुत custom format के लिए TDL/utility की ज़रूरत पड़ सकती है।

Sample Excel File कहाँ से मिलेगी?

Alt+O (Import) → Manage → Sample Excel File → Masters (या Transactions)। C दबाकर master/voucher type, File Format = Excel (Spreadsheet) और path चुनें, फिर E से export करें।

Ledger import में कौन से columns ज़रूरी हैं?

Ledger के लिए Name और Group Name mandatory हैं, बाकी columns (opening balance, GSTIN, address) optional।

Import में error आए तो?

Import के बाद Exceptions report में कारण दिखता है, जैसे mandatory field खाली, ledger/group नाम मेल नहीं खाता, गलत GST details या duplicate। Excel ठीक करके दोबारा import करें।

अपने existing Excel format से import हो सकता है?

हाँ। Alt+O → Manage → Mapping Templates → Transactions (या Masters) → Create में अपने Excel के columns को TallyPrime fields से map करें। Template config > excelmaps folder में save होता है और बार-बार use हो सकता है।
