TallyPrime License Errors — Codes, Meaning और Fix

“License not found / Educational Mode”, “Unable to connect to Gateway Server” या कोई numbered error (जैसे 22, 23, 46, 6457) — TallyPrime license error का मतलब है कि software को valid license नहीं मिल रहा। नीचे code के हिसाब से कारण और सुरक्षित fix order दिया है।

Error codes help.tallysolutions.com की Licensing Error Codes list से मिलाए गए हैं। Screen पर message की wording release के हिसाब से थोड़ी अलग हो सकती है — code number से match करें।

Fix steps — सुरक्षित क्रम में

Backup first: TallyPrime बंद करें और पूरे data folder की copy pen drive/दूसरी drive पर लें। License files हटाने से पहले भी उनकी copy रख लें।
Status देखें: F1 (Help) → Settings → License → Manage License। License किस computer/gateway पर है, TSS validity क्या है — यहीं दिखता है।
Network check (23, 802–809, 48): Internet चालू है? Proxy हो तो F1 → Settings → Connectivity में सही भरें। Windows Firewall में tally.exe और tallygatewayserver.exe को allow करें।
Gateway Server (401–412, Educational Mode on LAN): Server computer पर Windows Services में Tally Gateway Server चल रही है या नहीं देखें; बंद हो तो Start करें। Client पर Use License from Network में सही computer name/IP और port डालें।
Permission (13): Installation folder में tallyprime.lic का Read-only हटाएँ और folder को Write permission दें। Activation के समय UAC prompt पर admin login दें।
License file errors (18, 22): Installation folder से tally_lck.lic हटाकर activation दोबारा करें। फिर भी न हो तो tallyprime.lic हटाकर reactivate करें।
दूसरे computer पर active (6410, “license active on another computer”): पुराने computer से surrender करें (या prompt पर Yes चुनें) और नए पर reactivate।
Credentials (2013, 2015): Tally.NET ID/password भूले हों तो login screen पर Alt+R से reset करें।
TSS expired (6457): TSS renew करें, फिर Manage License में Ctrl+F5 (Update)।

Expert को कब बुलाएँ?

Error 32, 209, 6227, 6241, 6451 जैसे codes पर Tally खुद “contact Tally” कहता है — इनमें serial suspend/system registry जैसी समस्या होती है। Multi-user LAN पर gateway बार-बार टूटे, या license transfer/upgrade करना हो, तब भी trial-and-error न करें — license block हो सकता है।

Common Mistakes

License files दूसरे PC पर copy करना

इससे Error 46 या serial invalid हो सकता है। License हमेशा surrender → reactivate से move करें।

बार-बार reactivate करना

Multiple machines पर बार-बार activation से serial suspend हो सकता है (6451)। पहले status और network check करें।

FAQ

TallyPrime अचानक Educational Mode में क्यों खुल रहा है?

TallyPrime को license नहीं मिल रहा — license surrender हो गया, Gateway Server नहीं चल रहा, या network license वाले computer से connection टूटा। F1 > Settings > License > Manage License में status देखें।

Error 46 कब आता है?

जब license file (tally_lck.lic) दूसरे computer पर copy की गई हो और वहाँ unlock करने की कोशिश हो। License उसी computer पर unlock करें जहाँ activate किया था।

Error 6457 का मतलब क्या है?

TSS expire हो चुका है, इसलिए license इस नई release में valid नहीं। TSS renew करके license Update करें, या पुरानी release पर वापस जाएँ।

Unlock key कहाँ मिलेगी?

Activation के बाद registered email पर आती है (spam folder भी देखें)। Key case-sensitive है, copy-paste करें। Email न मिले तो Unlock License screen पर Alt+R (Get Unlock Key) से मँगाएँ।

क्या license error में data खतरे में है?

आमतौर पर नहीं — company data अलग folder में रहता है। फिर भी कोई भी fix करने से पहले data folder की copy ज़रूर लें।
